Farmer level Tracebility of Turmeric Product GI Tag

How to trace the product, place the farmer through the GI Tag.

1. Scan the QR code on the back label of the product
2. It will take you to the Jivancharya page, where you will find the details of the farmers and the link to the government website to check the farmer registration in the Geographical Indication list. Link to visit the government website is given below, or you can directly put in your search browser.

1. Put the product GI tag – for waigoan turmeric the code is – 471 (put the code in the search box)

1. Click on view and you will see the details of the product and when it gets the GI, like below :

1. Go down to the authorised user details (farmer details who are registered as GI farmers)
2. Now, as per the code, please check the farmers' details with the farmer code, enter the farmer code which is 87 in the search box., you will find the full details of the farmer. ( Full code - (AU/57039/GI/471/87)
